Welcome Lizzy!
Today we welcomed a class pet! The first and second graders met Lizzy our gecko! We learned about her environment and enclosure that keeps her safe, how to feed and water her, and how to check on her daily. Students will work in partnerships to care for Lizzy each day. The students were so excited about her arrival that they asked for nonfiction books to learn more about her! We will be working on how to handle her safely in the coming weeks, and how to keep ourselves safe and healthy. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
