Poetry Slam Jam 2022
Our first and second graders chose their favorite poems from a variety of authors and styles to read at our Poetry Slam Jam! Together with our Big Buddies from Mr. Braun's class we practiced reading our poems for accuracy, fluency and FUN for weeks. Today we presented our poems to the class!

Additionally, we each wrote an acrostic poem for our Big Buddy and presented it to them today as a token of our appreciation for their friendship and support. We enjoyed some yummy popsicles together at the end of the day. Big Buddies Little Buddies is a special WES tradition!
