Happy Friday!




Friday is a day to "finish up" any work you need to do. I am available to chat and help if you need it. Students should finish up their work by 11:00. Teachers will be meeting in their Professional Learning Communities (PLC) from 11:00-2:00 and planning for upcoming weeks.



First and Second Grade Families, this is a great time to snap pictures of your student's work and send them to me or put them directly into your child's google folder if you haven't already done this.



I am keeping all work samples in the google folder I shared with you. This is one way I am collecting data for end of year report cards.

Free Choice Friday 
Read any of your favorite books on Epic, Raz Kids or from home! 




First Grade Math Game optional
DROP IT
Find your Drop - It Sticks (bundled popsicle sticks with ten dots on one side and one dot on the other). Make a fist and rest it on the ground, in the other hand hold your sticks, pull your bottom fist out and drop your sticks! Practice counting by 10s and 1s and finding the total. 

Variations: Sort your tens and ones and count that way, or leave them as they lie and skip count off decade 10, 20, 30, 31, 32, 42 etc.
