Remote Learning Week 3, April 9

Dear Waterville Cougars,
Today you will spend time outdoors reading...if the weather holds out! But if the weather is cold and SNOWY and you wish it was warm and sunny... take out your favorite beach towel and swimsuit and read away! Please have a family member take a picture of you  while you are reading and email it to me. Have a great day!

Practice Skill
DROP IT
Find your Drop - It Sticks (bundled popsicle sticks with ten dots on one side and one dot on the other) in your new bag of materials! Make a fist and rest it on the ground, in the other hand hold your sticks, pull your bottom fist out and drop your sticks! Practice counting by 10s and 1s and finding the total. 

Variations: Sort your tens and ones and count that way, or leave them as they lie and skip count off decade 10, 20, 30, 31, 32, 42 etc.
