Dear First and Second Graders,

I can't believe today is already Thursday. The week is going by so quickly! You will practice your opinion writing skills. Today is our last day working in our small groups. You have done such an AMAZING job working together. Tomorrow is a finish up day and we will not have class meeting at 10:00. Remember to be marked as present for the day, you need to fill out the Daily Attendance-Check-in Google Form, or submit work samples through email.

Happy Friday!




Friday is a day to "finish up" any work you need to do. I am available to chat and help if you need it. Students should finish up their work by 11:00. Teachers will be meeting in their Professional Learning Communities (PLC) from 11:00-2:00 and planning for upcoming weeks.

I am keeping all work samples in the google folder I shared with you. This is one way I am collecting data for end of year report cards.

Practice reading your spelling words. Sort your words into groups as quickly as you can 3 different times. Set a timer to see how long it takes you!
