Classroom News
Thank you to all the first and second grade families who were patient and supportive during this very strange week. The "test-to-stay" routine went as smoothly as it could have, and we were happy to be here together at school.
I wanted to say a BIG thank you to Ms. Allysa our school nurse who goes above and beyond each and every day to stay current with the ever changing rules and guidelines. She treats us all with kindness and caring and has our best interest at heart each and every day. We are so fortunate to have her here at WES.
In class, we worked on review skills, and went out of our way to have fun together- keeping the stress level low :)
Here are a few snapshots from our week together.

Celebrating MLK Day
Today we read Martin's Big Words written by Doreen Rappaport. As a group we talked together, and began creating a special Give Peace and Hand project. Students wrote special words of peace on their colorful hands after watching the I Have a Dream speech together.
